Is photo stream working properly? Mine doesn't seem to automatically upload to mbp anymore.

I'm using Mac OS sierra on mbp and 10.0.2 on iphone. Both have "photo stream" on. Since IOS 10, it hasn't worked for me. I think it's not working because my iphone pics do not automatically upload to my mbp as it did before.
